Finances & Feelings- a safe space to talk money.
These small, supportive groups provide a safe space for women to explore their personal relationship with money and connect with others. Whether it's about budgeting, investment strategies, or navigating financial decisions with your partner, our groups offer a non-judgmental environment to discuss any money-related topic.
These groups are complimentary, and meet once a month for an hour. Come for 1, or come for 20. Whatever you need.
Sign up below for the next gathering. Note that these are "open groups"- where you may not have the same participants in the group every time. If you'd prefer a group where the participants are the same every time, email Laura Corbiani.
Working moms
Takes a village, right? Well, let's add some financial knowledge into your non-existent (but hopeful) self care routine.
Use this as a space to ask any financial question you have, no matter "how dumb" it is. Think of this like a book club for money, and yes, you can drink wine during it if you'd like <3.
Meets: Select Fridays at 12pm EST via Zoom
Participants are typically between ages 35-55 and have a household income of >$150,000. Oh yeah, and they're working moms.
Late carer/retired
“It’s not a big deal, it’s just your life savings.”
You’ve spent decades building this — every late night, every stressful meeting, every “I’ll make it to the next game, I promise.” Now retirement is almost here… and it’s thrilling, but also terrifying.
What’s the plan for your days when work isn’t running your calendar anymore? And how do you actually spend what you’ve worked so hard to save without that voice in your head saying, “Careful…”?
The truth is, money talk at this stage can feel lonelier — and more awkward — than anyone admits. That’s why this group exists: to be the place where you can lay it all out, from “what now?” to “how do I turn this into a paycheck?”
Meets: Select Wednesdays at 10am EST via Zoom
Participants can be partnered of single, and typically have retirement or investment assets >$800,000.
Widows
“Time heals all wounds” — maybe. But it sure doesn’t help you navigate the mountain of financial documents.
Use this a space to talk openly about financial decisions after loss, whether that’s navigating benefits, rethinking your future plans, or simply getting a handle on the accounts in front of you. You don’t have to have it “together” to show up.We’ll cover anything from “What do I do with this insurance payout?” to “How do I make financial decisions when I feel frozen?”
Meets: Select Thursdays at 8:00pm EST via Zoom
LQBTQ+
“Love is love” — and love deserves a solid financial plan.
Whether you’re navigating joint finances, protecting your rights, or making sure your legal and financial documents match your life, money in the LGBTQ+ community comes with unique twists most people don’t think about. This is a safe, affirming space to talk goals, challenges, and wins — from “How do we buy a house together?” to “What happens if the law changes?” Expect candid conversation, real stories, and a few “I wish I’d known this sooner” moments.
Meets: Select Tuesdays at 2pm EST via Zoom
Early career
“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” — and a budget.
Your first “real” paycheck feels amazing… until rent, bills, and that 401(k) form hit your desk. Should you invest? Pay down debt? Save for a house? All of the above? This group is your crash course in making smart money moves now so you’re not playing catch-up later. No jargon, no shame — just real talk about setting yourself up for the long haul while still having a life.
Meets: Select Mondays at 3pm EST via Zoom
